About CARM Buffing Paper
CARM Buffing Paper was born in Italy from over thirty years of experience in leather sanding and finishing technology. It combines precision, durability, and innovation to deliver the perfect balance between cutting power, surface uniformity, and longevity.
Our abrasive papers are designed to perform under all working conditions — from soft wet leathers to thick dry hides — ensuring consistent and controlled results throughout the process.
Available Types
LB (Light Brown) – Universal paper with aluminum oxide. It is the most versatile and widely used type, suitable for both wet and dry leathers.
FB (Fire Brown) – Double-resinated paper, specifically developed for humid environments and wet skins, offering superior strength and stability.
RC (Resin Coated) – A special stearate-treated paper that provides exceptional smoothness, reduced heat generation, and extended durability. It represents the perfect balance between LB and FB.
AB (Abrasive Backed) – Backed with cotton canvas, this type is used for upgrading leather grain and enhancing fiber consistency.
