Before accessing the machine, stop, isolate and make it safe according to the manufacturer’s manual and company procedures. The video illustrates one example, not a procedure for all buffing machines. Clamping, tensioning, working direction, guards and restarting are machine-specific.

Steps shown in the video

  1. Lay the paper on the preparation table with its printed backing visible, as in the opening sequence.
  2. Prepare the end profiles using the cutting operation shown. Their shape must match the clamping system on your machine.
  3. Bring the prepared paper to the cylinder and guide it around the surface, keeping it aligned as shown.
  4. Position the ends at the illustrated fixing points. Complete clamping and pre-use checks only according to the machine manual.

Handling and checks

Check identification, dimensions and condition before cutting. Do not copy the end shape without checking the machine fixing system. If the paper is damaged, stop and seek assistance before use.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use this end shape on every machine?

No. End profiles and fixing arrangements depend on the machine manufacturer and model.

Does the video specify speeds or tension values?

It does not provide universally applicable settings. Follow the manual and your validated production process.
